Hello, my name is Stefano d’Andrea and I am an Industrial Graphic Expert, trainer and consultant within the flexographic process. Since after school, in 1986, I work in the field of packaging printing and visual communication, with particular interest in flexography.
During my career I was lucky enough to experience different roles as trainer, technical support, product and business development manager for leading companies in the graphic arts industry worldwide.
The possibility to share technical knowledge with users, to allow them to increase the quality of their work, has always kept me closer to my educational vocation. So in 2017 I decided to undertake an independent activity as a trainer and consultant exclusively dedicated to the flexographic printing system.
I have experience in prepress, platemaking and printing in flexography, letterpress, offset and rotogravure. I am a teacher of theoretical and practical training, public speaker, and I have covered leadership and coordination positions at technical associations where I continue to bring my contribution.
In October 2013 I was qualified as FIRST Certified Implementation Specialist – Level III (# ISC0183) according to the certification program for specialists in flexography of the American FTA. I am actively collaborating with Atif, the Italian Technical Association for Flexography and with FTA Europe.
I love my job and I dedicate a lot of my free time to study and updating, but should you like to chat with me about subjects other than printing, you will surely find me very available to talk about music, playing and singing, in particular polyphonic choral music, photography, traveling and good food.
